Join us in Chicago’s beautiful Chinatown for traditional Chinese cultural activities. From ancient arts to centuries-old culinary practices, our programs are perfect anyone interested in learning about the world’s oldest civilization.

Dumpling Making Dinners Try your hand at making traditional Chinese dumplings with this tasty workshop. Each event lasts about 2 hours: 1 hour for Chinese New Year introduction and dumpling making, 1 hour for having a complete Chinese dinner.

Cost:  $35/person (6 people minimum)

Student group discount: $20-$30/person

Public Dumpling-making Dinner is available every Sunday 4:30 p.m. from Memorial day to Labor day.


Taichi Study this ancient martial art in authenticity with a Taichi master.Each session usually lasts for 30 minutes.We can do the Tai chi demo and practice at the Chinatown Square immediately after the tour or lunch.

Cost: $100/session (up to 25 people/group)


Kite-making Get crafty while making this classic toy that originated in China. Each session lasts about 1 hour: half hour introduction, half hour kite coloring.

Cost: $10/person ( $100 minimum )


Paper cutting Join us to create your very own and learn the art from a paper cutting master.

Cost:$5/person ( $100 minimum )
